Abstract
The tiny sphaeromatid isopod Cymodocella algoense, which is characterized by a bulbous tubular posterior pleotelson, is rediscovered 120 years after having been described from a single specimen from Algoa Bay. The new material was collected from the delta of the Nahoon River on the east coast of South Africa.
