• Ongoing projects on the taxonomy and phylogeny of Indo-Pacific isopod crustaceans.
• World revisions of selected taxa. Generic revisions of the Sphaeromatidae.
• Revision of the New Zealand Aegidae.
• Cladistic analyses of selected cirolanid and sphaeromatid genera.
• Development of DELTA interactive keys to selected families and genera of the Flabellifera (Isopoda).
